<h1>De Norske flyene</h1>
<p style="text-align: justify;">To nye Cessna L-19A Birddog levert i kasser som våpenhjelp fra USA den 7. september 1960, til Widerøe's FIvveselskap A/S for klargjøring. Etter prøveflyging av LFK's testflyger, skulle flygere fra Værnes flystasjon sjekkes ut på typen før flyene ble overført til Værnes for tilslutning til Super Cub seksjonen der. Selv om flyene og motorene var fabrikknye ved levering, var propellene brukte med godt over 1000 flytimer hver.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Fem Cessna L-19A Birddog ankom i kasser ombord på M/S "Terrier" 3. november 1961. Flyene var fabrikknye og ble klargjort Widerøe's Flyveselskap A/S. Alle fem skulle etter klargjøring og prøveflyging overføres til Værnes flystasjon.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Ti Cessna O-1A Birddog ble levert som våpenhjelp den 17. november 1965. De tre første ankom Norge den 12. desember samme år, og de resterende syv i januar 1966. Brukte fly levert fra US Army i Vest-Tyskland direkte til Værnes. Flyene ble fløyet fra Tyskland av flygere fra Hæren og Luftforsvaret.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Ti brukte Cessna O-1A Birddog levert sorn våpenhjelp med skip fra USA den 31. mai 1968 til LFK, Kjeller for klargjøring. Før de ble overfort til OP Flyavdelingen på Gardermoen, gjennomgikk flyene et 25 timers ettersyn som del av mottakskontrollen.</p>
